The sushi was excellent! Fresh and tasty. We had all you can eat, but it was pricey. 170 for 3 people (plus 2 beers with tip and tax). The robot service is a cute gimmick but I wonder about the sanitary qualities of plate after plate being put on the 'reloading trays' of the robot. The tablet used to place your order, is it ever sanitized? Also, it was super busy, only 15 minute wait, but it was packed and quite noisy. They really need to do a better job cleaning as the floor was sticky where I was waiting and the plastic dividers between tables was not cleaned well. Sushi places are few and far between, if I was to go again, I would order a la carte and pick a less busy time than Friday before 6 pm!

Always a fantastic experience. The food quality is incredible, we’ve been to this restaurant dozens of times over the years and have never been disappointed. The price per person is higher than some similar style restaurants but it is 100% worth it for the quality and experience. You will not be disappointed.

Good sushi in Kanata. The salmon and tuna are the best fishes they have and the portions are abundant. The white fish is tasteless, but is part of the tray.

Usually we visit east Ottawa but tried Hockey sushi when traveling from the west. It was similar in many ways to other top AYCE. Even has the cat robot waiter. They have mango salad, takoyaki, great wakami salad, veggie gyoza, Kimchi, squid sashimi and some harder to find beef dishes (enoki etc...) also dessert included strawberry ice-cream, coconut pudding, coconut custard gyoza (amazing), mango and coconut pudding as well as the aaaall the usual choices. Everything was very good, and there is almost nothing bad to say about this place. I think they use a smoke flavor in some tepanyaki dishes that I'm not crazy about. I'm sure some people like that flavor, it was still a good dish. With so many good dishes to choose this is a great place for everyone

Love the place. It wasn't crowded. They served the food very fast. Very good quality of sashimi and sushi. Also has a very cute robot serving sushi. Will definitely visit again.

Our go to place for AYCE Sushi. The quality and variety are great. The plaza can be very busy and hard to find a parking spot. Sometimes, if the restaurant is too busy, your sushi can arrive with warm rice due to the sales volume. Not great, but not a deal breaker. The restaurant staff work hard to keep up with the pace and they have a robot server called Bella, fun addition for birthdays as Bella will come to the table side and sing “Happy Birthday to you”

We order takeout from Hockey Sushi a few times a year, and it’s consistently excellent. They always get the order right, it’s always ready on time, and the food is consistently delicious. Their website makes ordering a breeze, with clear pictures of every menu item. Highly recommend it for sushi lovers!
